It is believed that people in the lithium battery assembly equipment industry know that its function is to test the voltage, current, internal resistance and over-current in the lithium battery pack. This statement is still not enough to let you simply understand the role of the comprehensive tester. I would like to point out that the comprehensive test can not detect the capacity of the lithium battery pack. Why do you say that? Because a group of batteries need to simulate the usage of the battery in one day. The comprehensive tester is very fast in charging and discharging, about 4 seconds to 20 seconds. In this way, the battery power can be measured, not the amount of electricity, and the equipment of the protection board can also be tested.
However, this feature reminds us of the lithium battery aging cabinet. I want to compare this with the comprehensive tester, which is to make it easier for us to understand the lithium battery comprehensive tester. The lithium battery aging cabinet can't test the lithium battery pack with the lithium battery protection board, but it can measure the capacity of the lithium battery. The aging cabinet can simulate a battery pack. According to the daily energy consumption, we can get the capacity of the lithium battery.
Previously, I thought that if I bought an aging cabinet directly, I could save the cost without using a comprehensive tester. However, after understanding the functions of the two, I understood these two different concepts. In short, the lithium battery comprehensive tester can not measure the battery capacity, but can test the lithium battery pack with a protection board. Lithium battery aging cabinet can test the capacity of lithium battery, not the battery pack with protection board, but the voltage and current accuracy of lithium battery pack.
